Map the CDF fields with Incoming BOD

Dear Forum Member,

 

We have added a CDF field in the BusinessPartner table and made it mandatory but now when we are trying to create the customer using BOD its throwing the error.

 

I have tried using the extension to update that CDF fields but its also not working, Can you please suggests any other way to amp this CDF field or set by default in LN if creating using BOD.

The CDF is always inserted first an extension is updating it. If the field is mandatory, this will lead to an error, as insert is prohibited if empty. You could use a table extension and check if you come from the BOD with



if dal.get.context()=CTX_INTEGRATION

...

endif



and set a default value for the column in there, I believe.
