Hi,

Has anybody come across HSBC saying that the Standard 18 Bacs file is incorrect and needs adjusting?

A while back we logged something with Pegasus saying the date was out by a day, but they wouldn't have it and the response was that if there was a problem lots of people would report it. Ended up writing a bespoke version.

If you compare the payroll output to the purchase output files for Standard 18, theyre both different & our clients had to manually change this in notepad. We logged this as a defect, but for some reason it was never accepted....in the end the clients moved a different accountancy package (this wasnt the reason!!)

We had a customer just change to HSBC.net. We set Bac's software in Opera to HSBC and when the File was imported in HSBC.net they need to use HEX4 files type , if they used standard 18 file format to upload files it would fail unless the amended the file
