Hello,

Need some feedback on an upload issue with Spreadsheet Designer. Wondering if anyone ran into the titled subject above before while uploading in Spreadsheet Designer to IPA Tables. We're currently working with Infor to troubleshoot, but we figured we'd toss this at the community as well. Thanks

If you mean in the upload properties dailog box to left, there's no "TaskDescription" field to select for upload.

Hi,

You welcome. I don't perform uploads so take what I offer with a grain of salt. I would uncheck the TASK DESCRIPTION on the QUERY and try it again. Seems to me you are querying 5 items and uploading only 4. Infor support is the proper channel. Good luck.

Hi,

When I do uploads of tasks, I upload the PfiUserProfile, TaskName, TaskType, StartDate, EndDate and FilterCategory (start and end date are usually blank). I think your issue is probably loading the UniqueID.

@ray i understand and thanks for the feedback. we didn't think it'd mattered, but i tried it as suggested. outcome remains the same.

@rmcanham we initially left out the unique ID, but opted to put it after we ran into a flood of errors without it. I don't suppose including it should be cause a problem, since we're only updating the IPA tables, not creating. I did however try your approach but the error persists.

Looking at your screenshots, are you just loading the first record? You shouldn't have to create the user's personal task, it is automatic for users (I checked my own setup to make sure, if I check my tasks, I see my user task and group tasks, but if I look at my setup, only the group tasks are listed.

Hmm...some context here - the consensus on my team was that these four sheets had to be uploaded sequentially:

>> PFITASK, PFIUSERPROFILE, PFIUSERTASK and PFIUSERCATEGORY.

PFITASK and PFIUSERPROFILE uploaded successfully without issue. The third sheet PFIUSERTASK (which is the screenshots i've provided thus far), is the hiccup is. I personally don't understand the error, but based on what it indicates. i can only assume that it can't find a required field to upload? But all the required field(s) where selected for the upload process.

Infor has yet to get back with some additional feedback. So far, they've recommended checking an option, which didn't help.
