Is there anyone running daily Lawson utilities to monitor old/open requisitions and PO's? I’m interested in learning more about “best practice utilities” and what they can do for daily monitoring.

We don't run them daily - but I use RQ140 to find old unreleased reqs and delete them monthly. The buyers run PO223 at will and we run one monthly as part of our stats.

We run a modified PO222 report called a "Buyer Action Report". The report identifies for the buyer whether they need validate receipt of the product (MNR/INR), contact the vendor for an invoice (RNI), or if everything matches and line isn't closed, open a ticket with my team to determine the issue. Below are the categories we break PO lines into:

BUYER_ACTION

VALIDATE ORDER IS CLOSED WITH VENDOR AND CANCEL REMAINING (Partial receipt and invoice)

NEED INVOICE OR ARCHIVE (RNI)

RECEIVE (MNR/INR)

INFOR TICKET – Matched Not Closed (PO/Receipt/Invoice all match but line did not close)

INFOR TICKET - Negative Open To Receive (Usually caused by a UOM change while a transaction is open or a change made to the Po after a receipt)

OVER RECEIVE (Supplier sent and invoiced more than was ordered)

OVER RECEIVE AND NOTIFY (Supplier sent and invoiced more than was ordered for a stock item. Warehouse will need to adjust inventories after over receipt.)

How did you modify it? IPA? Just redid with sql and transmit it?

It is an SQL query that we publish to our LBI dashboard via Crystal. Here is our functional design. We also do one for Capital POs with the Activities and Account Categories.
