FACTS v9.3 Demo now availalbe

The FACTS v9.3 demo is now available for download from the Infor Sales Portal (https://salesportal.infor.com/Products/Distribution/FACTS/Pages/default.aspx).

The FACTS v9.3 Demo Installation guide has been updated and is available for download from the Infor Documentation Support Portal
(https://www.inforxtreme.com/espublic/en/AnswerLinkDotNet/SoHo/DocLink/SoHoDocLink.aspx).

Wiithin the documentation center, you’ll find the FACTS v9.3 Demo Install Guide under:

As usual the credentials to log into the demo, once installed, are:

USER CODE: IN4
PASSWORD: IN4

After installing the demo by following the new installation instructions, I tried to print to the unform printer, but the client window shows it trying to connect to port 27390 which is of course the server is not responding to. Where is it getting the 27390 from? Everything I see is configured for 27290.

Ken: According to the Demo Install Guide instructions , setting up the Unform Server Manager (page #15, item #14) the primary server port should be set to 27290 and the HTTPD port should be set to 27292. Then, of course, set the HTTP port, in System Control F/M, Archiving Tab, to 27292. The above should get things rolling. If not....I'd suggest contacting support.

I had this discussion with Jeff. Rather than setting the demo to use the default value used by SDSI, you must manually override that setting.

Yes, all of that checks out, server port is 27290, httpd port is 27292, and system control is set to 27292, yet the unform client is still trying to connect using 27390 instead of 27290.

Hi Ken, check the port in uf100c.ini - that's most likely the culprit.

1. Log into UF web interface as user admin.

2. Admin-->Server Manager-->Configuration.

3. Change default setting to match obsolete setting.
