MTD - Premature Registration

I am sure this is something we are all likely to come across.

Have a client who has to submit February, March, April Quarter.

They registered before submitting the final quarter, now they cannot submit using the Government Gateway.

The client has logged a call with the HMRC, but they state the incident could take 2 to 5 days before responding to the issue.

Anybody having a similar problem?

Customer had the same VAT quarter and not signed up for MTD yet but HMRC had already signed them up automatically so they cannot logon to portal to enter the value's manually. Customer is trying to get HRMC to switch them back to manual but struggling to get through on the phone.

Hi Richard, We logged the incident on their Government Gateway Account, under help, basically asking for them to de-register the client. When we first called, it took over 30 mins, before they picked up the phone. Explained the situation and offered to put me over to their MTD guru's. Had no joy as they were not picking up the phone, it was suggested HMRC would log the incident, gave me a reference number. But said it could be 5 days before I got a response.
