Special Character Limitation

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to limit the use of special characters within RQC? We are trying to limit the amount of special orders, especially if lawson numbers are available. Many of our users will use an * or " to get around the system to place a special. Wasn't sure if there was a way to limit that.

We are running into something similar. When users cut-n-paste items and/or descriptions from a PDF document, I suspect control characters are corrupting the screen. I am speaking to my web development team on a possible solution. At least, until Infor does.

We use User Exits to force caps and replace any special characters. I am attaching a screen shot from our developer.
