Using OperaSQL
This error seems to be when the user does nothing for a few minutes. The error just appears on the screen. It can also appear when moving around or clicking on options. NOTE: they do not have CRM.
The error is not happening on the Opera server, only on any of the RDS servers. All users use Opera via 4 load balanced 2016 RDS servers (we have other customers using this setup with no issues).
The servers were installed in Jan 19. Their IT block updates on the servers and schedule them in, but no recent updates have been applied.
The problem started in July and coincided with the install of 2.20 scheduler. (NOTE: this was incorrectly installed on their Opera v2.22?!) Scheduler has since been completely uninstalled and then reinstalled once they upgraded to Opera 2.60.12. Scheduler is working fine.
- Local Pegasus folder permissions are full control everyone
- AV settings exclusions have been checked.
- AV was turned off at one point
- DEP has been set to exclude Opera.exe and Main.exe.
- Then CMD: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff and back on again with restart in between sets, too.
We have found a workaround: by setting each user to run the Opera icon As Administrator on the RDS server. However, this goes against the company’s security policy. IT are therefore typing in the admin password for the users in the morning and the users then stay in Opera all day.
