Strange characters in Views

Hi, has anyone come across this before as were a bit stumped

One of our clients have had winows 10 v 1809 machines installed. and they get the attachd strange chracters when they view someting in say sales view, nominal view or purchase view

WE immediately thought it was the keyboard, or regions & settings.

There was a couple of ones that were set to US, but nothing out of the ordinary.

So we have changed these, rebooted & they still appear - anyone come across this?

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I have had a customer reporting strange characters when trying to input the account code in NL Journal Details form. the backspace key was also generating strange characters???
