Hi Vignesh,
Thank you for the overview. I work with M3 and have started doing some experiments with Coleman DA. I wanted to get the M3 based skills, but on the KB you linked they are only described but not attached as you write above.
They are not provisioned to our tenant either.
Can you help me with where to find that content for download?0 -

As far enabling the product in your tenant - At this moment its only available for tenants in US-E. (For other regions, this should be ready by June. Note this is a Tentative estimate and not a commitment). And you need to be entitled for the sku COL-S-DAC-MT. If your tenant is in US-E and if you are entitled for this SKU, please let me know.0 -

Looking forward to have a go with them.
Are there any news as to when and how a new text based interaction will be available for Colaman AI when Chat is phased out? - I saw a post about MS Teams, but when?0 -
HI Vignesh
I have deployed skills for Cloudsuite HCM in Coleman. when I run the skills the backend Call to HCM is not working, error message is "Sorry an error occurred in processing your request. Please contact administrator.".
Is there any setup I have to complete before running the skills?
0 -
Sure. One request - I would like to keep this thread for announcement of KB/ cataloging them.
Can you please post a new question on this problem, so that we can track the troubleshooting tips via that thread for the benefit of others too. Thanks.

HI
The latest Coleman User manual (dated 1July 2021). On page 11, says :
Setting up Coleman Digital Assistant with MicrosoftTeams
You can use Microsoft Teams with Infor Coleman Digital Assistant. To set up Microsoft Teams to workwith Coleman:
1
In Microsoft Teams, click Apps.
2
Search for and select Infor Coleman Digital Assistant.
3
Click Add to install.
4
After the installation is complete, specify your Infor Ming.le URL when prompted by Coleman.
Your Infor Ming.le URL is provided in your Welcome to Infor CloudSuite email. You cancopy and paste the URL for your Infor OS instance.
5
Provide your log-in credentials to access Coleman.
6
To enable Coleman on Microsoft Teams, select Allow on the authorization screen.,
Note: To pin the Coleman app on the left side, right-click the app icon and select Pin. The Colemanapp now resides on the side rail as a shortcut. However teams is not recognising 'Infor Coleman Digital Assistant', now Infor. Does this mean the manual is incorrect? Or is there another search term?
Thank you
Shirley

Hi Shirley!
The plugin Coleman Digital Assistant Teams plugin is not quite yet available in the Plugin Store - we are working on some final steps with Microsoft to get this pushed out shortly. I will keep you in the loop when this does happen, and we will update the documentation accordingly.
We are excited that you are looking to try out Coleman DA in Teams! And are working to get this out as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
Shan - Product Manager, Coleman Digital Assistant

Thank you Shan! Appreciate it the update.
Your video with Vignesh was very good as well. Very informative and easy to follow :-)
Look forward to testing it out in Teams!

Have there been any new developments in these packs since then?
Are you aware of any relevant initiatives on the use of CDA in an M3 context?
Is it possible with CDA to link several questions together, as in chatbot?0 -
I'm also curious about updated Skill Packs for FSM.
We are just getting started in Coleman DA and the FSM skill packs are two years old with some warnings about deprecated functionality, e.g. utterances with embedded requirements and using drill backs.

Hi Denis!
The latest skills' packages are available on Infor Marketplace:
* HR Talent - Infor HR Talent Coleman Digital Assistant Skill Pack | Infor Marketplace (The new version of those skills is coming soon)
* CSD - Infor CloudSuite Distribution Coleman Digital Assistant Skill Pack | Infor Marketplace
* XM - Infor Expense Management (XM) Coleman Digital Assistant Skill Pack | Infor Marketplace
* FSM - this skills package is under review, that's why not available on Marketplace yet
We are not planning to develop any new standard skills for M3.
Regarding your second question, there is a feature in Coleman DA called "chain skill" which allows to chain a skill to the next one, while reusing already provided requirements. It allows for more dynamic conversation experience.
For detailed information on how to use chain skill feature please refer to the Coleman DA User Guide.
Thanks,
Natalia Ptaszek

Thank you for the follow up.
Is using drill backs for navigations now deprecated, or is it just using the fulfillment type of drillback that is deprecated?
i.e. Is using a drilback URL in a navigation response also considered deprecated? There is no warning so I'm assuming it's fine.
0 -
Hi Andy !
For navigation we recommend to use the response action: Navigate and provide either the drillback link or URL. The Drillback skill type was deprecated as per Coleman DA user guide.

Thanks, that's what I figured but wanted to sure
Thanks for the follow up!

Hi Natalia,
Finally, by studying the functionalities of CDA a little closely
and examining the examples provided on the marketplace,
I concluded that there are very few use cases for using basic fullfillment type skills.
Because this implies that everything is hardcoded in the definition of the skill.
So ultimately, there are only API skills that are really relevant, right?0 -
@natalia-ptaszek Any update on when the new versions of the HR Talent and FSM skill packs will be available in the Marketplace?
0 -
Hi @andrew-tarver ,
We are actively working on delivering the new updated version of the skills for HRT and FSM. It is hard right now to give a specific date, but we will keep everyone posted.

HI @dmarette , the Basic fulfillment type is suitable for the statis Question & Answer Skills, which doesn't require the retrieval of information from neither Infor CloudSuite nor 3rd party. We saw the most value indeed in the API based Skills, which are either getting needed information from Infor CloudSuite or 3rd party or posting the data there.

Do you think it would be possible to create a skill in Coleman that could update information on separate records?
For example, the user would enter a project number and a parameter to be updated, and the skill would then repercuss the update of this information on all the commands linked to this project.
I've looked at the various examples of skills provided, but I haven't found one that comes close to this scenario.
Is this a use case that can't be met via CDA?0 -
Dear Vignesh,
I have exporing the Infor Coman with LN using it to get the data from external sources and from LN using APIs. Is there any standard template skills for LN?
Thank you in advance,
Verasin (Thailand)0 -
HI @dmarette ,
It is possible to create a skill which would update the record in the system, as long as there are APIs available to perform such transactions. There are FSM and GHR skills which allow to update a particular information like change the requisition status, add or update the phone number etc.
Moreover, we do have a feature call "confirmation prompt" which allows Coleman to prompt user with confirmation question, before performing update.
0 -
So if you don't have an API in your application that allows you to update several distinct records with a single call, it's not possible in Coleman to combine the call of a first API to collect the identifiers of the records to be updated and then loop over the results of the first API to call a second one that updates each record individually.
0 -
Denis,
depending on the scenario, you may be able to fill in that gap with an API Flow that touches the various API's you want to update.
David

David,
that's exactly what came to mind last nightThanks for your interest in my question.

@natalia-ptaszek Do you anticipate these updated skill packs will be released prior to the OS portal forced adoption in April 2024? Aer they being updated to accommodate the OS portal change?
