What solution exists for automated testing of the Infor Cloud Platform ?

Hi,

I'd like to find out more about a subject for which I'm asking you

I'd like to get an overview of what exists to enable me to design and run automated tests targeting the Infor Cloud Platform.
Have you already looked into this subject?

I understand that Infor offers a tool/service (?) testiong as a service. Have you looked into this? Are there any alternatives?

Check out Original Software, they are doing some cool things in this space.

I don't think Infor continues to offer TaaS? (Testing as a Service)

We have used a TaaS called TestRigor and it proved to be simple yet powerful. Testing new order types and dispatch policies was always too redundant. TestRigor was used to automate from Order Entry up to Invoicing with predetermined data sets all while recording and taking screenshots of the process. It uses natural language for simple instructions e.g "Click Next", "Highlight Alias below Item Description" etc

It sounds very interesting to read and, above all, what attracts my curiosity is that you seem to be able to design your own test scenarios.

This doesn't seem to be the case with the tool proposed by Infor, for which I understand you have to use a service to do so.

But I'll have to look into that. Maybe I'm talking nonsense. If anyone uses the Infor tool, I'd be interested in confirming what I've said.

In fact, the service provided by INFOR is now called ATS, and has evolved from what was previously known as TAS.

ATS does allow the introduction of customized business test scenarios, but the construction of these scenarios is entrusted entirely to a dedicated Infor team, for a number of good reasons.

So, for those looking for a solution where the customer is autonomous in this respect, TAS is not currently strategically positioned in this direction.
